This is an indoor and outdoor children’s play tent – one of my favorite tents for the target market. Designed for children ages 36 months to 10 years, this tent is quite large (48”x48”x42”) and is ideal for playtime.
The glow in the dark stars and vibrant space graphics are activated by light and allow for hours of fun. While the walls of the tent are black, the polyester taffeta material is thin enough that they don’t completely block light in the daytime. Plus, some of the top panels are mesh, which allows in quite a bit of light.
While this tent was created for both indoor and outdoor play, it’s really built primarily for indoor enjoyment. The windows and doors close with velcro, which holds them closed, but does not keep them completely sealed shut for outdoor use. Read the rest of this Pacific Play Tents Galaxy Dome Tent review to learn more about its usability, durability, and limitations.

EASE OF SETUP
With a little help from an adult, children can easily set up this tent where ever they decide they want to play. Each of the two poles is color-coded to show exactly which pole pockets they should fit into. The vibrant, glow-in-the-dark space graphics are pre-printed on the tent, so your kids can get right to playing as soon as it’s delivered.
This tent is big enough for two children to play alongside their kid-sized furniture, depending on their size and age. There is a large door in the front, small round door on the side (for an additional tunnel you can purchase or leave as is), and some mesh at the top, which allows for air to flow through the tent on nice days in the shade.
